Philately is Fun

      For those who like to collect small objects such as myself. Better you collect stamps. Yes, tiny objects and funny-shaped box that was born on 6 May 1840 which is in addition to its function as proof of payment of sending a letter or porto, also can be used as a valuable collection of course.  

      Well, that collecting is called philately. A very avid philatelists collecting postal items such as stamps, securities / ancient, old money, to phone cards. Philately derived from the Greek, which means that mean (meaning friend) and Atelia (meaning liberation). Means friend liberation. Indeed, a philately is free, with no coercion and can become friends as a hobby this one takes care of very seriously and spend a fortune to get it, not that extravagant.
       

Philately is not just collecting stamps but the other postal

 

      Being a philatelists requires patience, skill, diligence, neatness, and the deepening of a fairly serious or not can be play in collecting these ancient objects. Being philately also takes an active communication in correspondence or incorporated in the club, so get the experience / knowledge of more senior philatelists. Hobby of philately has considerable benefits, namely: 

1. Instilling a positive attitude of persistence, accuracy, precision, and discipline. And hygiene should be number one, keep note of each whole stamps, albums and other philatelic supplies. 

2. Foster mutual understanding and honest attitude. 

3. Create the fabric of brotherhood and friendship, both nationally and internationally. 

4. Exchange stamps with overseas philatelists philately will encourage Indonesia to improve their knowledge in foreign languages 

5. Collecting philatelic items to add to knowledge in both the fields of history, earth science, statecraft, sports, environment etc. 

6. Eliminate tension / stress 

7. Activities outside the school a positive to avoid negative influences such as delinquency, drugs, gambling etc. 

8. Philatelic exhibition to foster a spirit of competition and existence 

9. Learning to organize the incoming clubs and associations philatelists 

10. Being investors with the action of auction / sale
